-Like Dorothy`s ruby slippers
2019-10-14
I LOVE this PixieDust. I`ve loved the original PixieDust line for a long time, and Chyna is amazing and one of my favorites. It`s a little different than the other original PixieDusts, it seems a bit chunkier, but it is really gorgeous. So much red sparkle, like Dorothy`s magic slippers. The texture of PixieDusts is weird, like having sand on your nails, but once you get used to it, it stops feeling weird. I LOVE PixieDusts. They`re so lovely that when I`m not feeling like doing nail art, I`ll usually wear a PixieDust so I still have something special on my nails. And I`m wearing Chyna as I`m writing this, which is why I was inspired to write this review.

-Not the polish for me
2016-01-12
I was super excited to try my first PixieDust nail polish by Zoya in Chyna (since I adore reds), but I was really disappointed. I don`t like the texture, but the sparkle is nice. The staying power is the best, but I wasn`t really digging the color or the texture. I went ahead and applied a top coat to mine and it took about 2 or 3 swipes of the stuff since the glitter really absorbs it. I received compliments on it, but I am not liking none of it. I won`t be re-purchasing any of the PixieDust line.

I finally found the red I have been looking for. It is even prettier than it looks. Long lasting and the texture is not as rough as the usual glitter polishes. I would recommend this for anyone and everyone Pixie Dust my absolute favorite.

Zoya Nail Polish | ChynaNot a True Passion Red

I was really excited to get this color, but disappointed that it`s more of a deep pink hue rather than a deep warm maroonish red in the picture, even after 2 coats.

Zoya Nail Polish | ChynaRuby slippers for your nails
2013-03-30
I got a manicure and decided to try a new Zoya color. The polish went in nice thin coats even with the "dust". The polish took about 16 minutes drying under a fan before I could start fumbling in my purse without damaging anything. The polish looks great and I love the sparkle. It`s glitzy but the matte combined with the sparkle keeps this bold polish looking classy, not garish.

Zoya Nail Polish | ChynaUnique Color, Matte with a sugar texture
2013-03-01
I highly recommend Godiva from the Pixie dust collection! Yet Chyna does not offer me the same effect I was looking for. While the picture on the nails shown is accurate, the sugar looking crystals simply don`t shine like they do in Godiva. The Matte covers the shine. My best recommendation is to never add more than 2 coats, otherwise it will go almost completely matte-losing all sparkle. I was hoping Chyna would look rich in its red- yet the matte makes the red look bland. Remember you can`t use the color-lock system with ANY Pixie Dust colors. No base coat, no top coat or fast dry. The Pixie Dust colors have a sugar like texture once dry, It does Dry very fast, and even with the texture it lasts for weeks. I like Chyna I will use it again, it simply does not sparkle like Godiva, and I wish it did. If your looking for a unique look to your nails Pixie Dust is it, and I do recommend buying them, this is simply my opinion, if you only buy one to see- Buy Godiva :)
