-Something is odd with Miranda
2018-04-22
I love the pixie line, I have 8-10 of them and this shade is the only one that doesn`t stay stunning after the first few days. It sorta looses the color intensity and its sparkle. Unless they upgrade the formula, I can`t recommend it.

-Needs multiple coats
2016-06-27
After 3 coats, the color is finally dense. First coat was very sheer gray with a purple/fuscia glitter. Second was more lavender, the third had the lovely purple density.

Stunning Color
2014-05-22
Without trying to seem overly dramatic, this color is stunning! Unlike most other Pixie Dust polishes, the glitter in Carter is vivid magenta, and absolutely gorgeous. That being said, there`s something else a little bit different about Carter. First, let me tell you, I`m a huge fan of the textured finish of all the Pixie Dust collection. But Carter seems a bit more fragile than the rest. It didn`t wear quite a tough as the other colors. It took an extra coat to get the full "Pixie Dust" finish, too. For those two reasons, I can`t give it a "5" for a rating. It`s visual impact is worth the extra care required. This polish is so special, I found myself admiring my own nails more often than once!

gorgeous

I can`t believe no one has reviewed this. Carter is so pretty! Sparkly, rich, pretty, I love it. I wear Stevie on some fingers and this Carter on others and it`s a fun attractive look.

Misleading Color
2014-01-24
The color of this polish on the website is not representative of the actual color of the product. It is actually closer to a magenta or fuchsia, not a lavender or periwinkle as it appears here. It`s still pretty, but if you are hoping for a color match, you`ll be disappointed.

Does not look like the picture advertised
2013-12-27
Carter does not look like it does in the advertised picture of the models nails. It has flashy pink sparkles instead of what looks like white sparkles in the picture, and the purple is not as dark as it appears in the picture it is a brighter-pinkish color.

Pretty, not quite as deep as appears on screen
2013-11-14
This was my first pixie dust polish. I love the texture and sparkle. The final effect is not as deep purple as it appears on screen. The matte base is but the fine glitter is a bright magenta so the overall effect is warmer than what you see here.

LOVE
2013-10-25
I just got my polish in today and I love this! I wasn`t exactly sure how I felt about any type of textured nail polish or the fact that it is matte, but I am glad I went out of the box. I love it, the only thing I wish is that my nails were longer, I think it would look even better.

Disappointed
2013-10-19
I was very, very excited to see a deep, cool-toned purple in the fall Pixie Dust collection, but the bottle I picked up locally fell far short of my expectations. In particular, there is a distinctly red tone to the sparkle, which, if examined closely, clashes terribly with the cool-toned base pigment. It`s an all right color, I guess, but not what I was hoping for.
